One month from today, with the arrival of autumn, I’ll be forced to accept the fact that summer is over.
But for now, I feel like this cute fella,
soaking up every last minute.
As most of you know through my Instagram account and newsletter, I love to rescue flowers.
This summer my $3 rescue Zinnias have put on a show.
Not only have we enjoyed them, but our hummingbirds, butterflies, bumblebees and
even Donald love them!

There is so much to love about your post: lovely butterfly and flowers, boosting another writer, and sharing your own joy. Thank you, Jill!
Always enjoy your newsletters, especially hearing about your rescue plants. Donald looks like she's wearing a crown of zinnias! Summer is my least favorite season as I'm not a hot house plant. Autumn can be too warm for me too. I prefer winter and spring. but that's only because I live in Southern California! Cheers, Roslyn.
