Hey friends!
Did you know August 14th is National Creamsicle Day?
Probably not.
I know because I love Creamsicles!
There’s always a box in our freezer.
Inspired by the Popsicle, which was accidently invented by 11-year-old Frank Epperson back in 1905, the Creamsicle is a sweet, low calorie treat.
It consists of Vanilla ice cream on a Popsicle stick with an outer coating of orange sherbet.
I can’t think of a better way to survive the dog days of August than to celebrate National Creamsicle Day!
FRIENDS WHO WRITE:
Speaking of dogs…next week, my Love Inspired sister, Heidi Main has a K-9 Companions book HER LOYAL COMPANION releasing on August 20th.
Isn’t the cover adorable?
To train these dogs
They’ll need time, patience…and love
Training service dogs is Autumn McCaw’s passion. She won’t let anything jeopardize her business’s chance of success, including her former love Wyatt Nelson. But with a looming deadline to prove herself capable, she has no choice but to hire the one man who hurt her years ago. Relying on the single dad is tough—especially since he has trust issues of his own. But can Autumn and Wyatt overcome their past to save her business…and open their hearts to love?
GIVEAWAY ALERT:
Heidi is offering a signed copy of HER LOYAL COMPANION to one U.S. winner or an e-book if the winner is outside of the U.S.
