Hey friends!
Today is National Orchid Day.
The orchid is one of my favorite flowers.
Orchids symbolize love, beauty, strength, and resilience. With over 25,000 species, each bloom tells a unique story.
I was always told orchids were challenging to grow, but I haven’t found that to be the case. With some attention (words of encouragement) and a small amount of water every few days, my four plants bloom several times yearly.
Take time to appreciate their vibrant colors and delicate elegance,
The orchard is a perfect reminder of life’s quiet, powerful beauty. #NationalOrchidDay

FRIENDS WHO WRITE:
Congratulations to my friend and author, Jacqui Murray, on her latest release!
Savage Land is the third trilogy about prehistoric man in the series, Man. Vs. Nature. Written in the spirit of Jean Auel, Savage Land explores how two bands of humans survived one of the worst natural disasters in Earth's history, when volcanic eruptions darkened the sky, massive tsunamis crossed the ocean in crushing waves, and raging fires burned the land. Each of the tribes considered themselves apex predators. Neither was. That crown belonged to Nature and she was intent on washing the blight of man from her face. Join me in this three-book fictional exploration of Neanderthals. Be ready for a world nothing like what you thought it would be, filled with clever minds, brilliant acts, and innovative solutions to life-ending problems, all based on real events. At the end of this trilogy, you’ll be proud to call Neanderthals family.
In Badlands, Book Two of the trilogy, the tribes split up, each pursuing dangerous but necessary goals, all at the mercy of the Nature. How they collaborate despite their inborn distrust could end this journey before it starts or forge new relationships that will serve both groups well in the future.
In addition, my writer friend D.L. Finn (Denise) has combined her photography and poetry talent into a new online storefront!
The store has something for everyone!
Of course, the gorgeous notebooks caught my eye!
I hope you’ll visit her new Gratitude Store when shopping for that special gift.
WINNER’S CIRCLE:
It was great to hear from you last month!
Many asked about our hummingbirds.
I’m excited to say we had our first visitor on March 29th!
He arrived earlier than in years past, so we had to rush to get the feeder out.
The poor little fella thought my pink cup on the patio table was a food source.
We’re excited and hopeful for an active season.
Now, for the winners.
