Who doesn’t need a little extra money for holiday shopping?
Read on to find out how you can get some extra jingle for the holidays.
When I was a kid I loved to watch Leave it to Beaver.
One of the things I liked the most about the show were the character’s nicknames—Whitey, Lumpy and of course, the Beaver.
I never had a nickname while in elementary school, but I always wanted one.
As an early teen, Happy Days was one of my favorite television shows. With nicknames like The Fonz, Ralph Malph, and Potsie, it seemed everyone had a nickname except for me.
Then in high school…it happened.
I finally got my first nickname.
It was Nerd.
My friend, who I’ve known since we were eight years old, came up with the name.
From then on we were both Nerds.
Even today, we rarely refer to each other by our real name. It just doesn’t sound right.
In college I became Jilly Bean, Jilly, Jillow, Jilly Poo and Jillster.
Later, I was Sleepy.
For someone who never had a nickname, these days I find myself answering to many names.

Sounds like you had quite a few nicknames that rhymed and had a good ring to it. I know I'm a bit late and not in it to win it, but some of my nicknames in school were Banana and Nugget. My friends called me that because I loved eating Bananas and nuggets. - Mabel
Hi Jill, in junior high school I was bullied and called frizzy top (my hair). Then in high school, I earned the nickname "Mushy" ( My last name was Marchand and they called me Marshy but one day my friend yelled out across the quad and it sounded like Mushy and it stuck). My dad always called me Baby, then when I met and got to know country singer Lee Greenwood (his mom was a friend of mine) he started calling me Baby and now my husband calls me Baby. When I was working as a surgical tech I had two doctors give me nicknames, one called me Miss Muffet and the other called me Twinkle Toes (not totally sure their reasonings).
