Hello friends!
Happy November!
Here in North Carolina the days are getting shorter and the temperatures colder. I find myself already longing for the warmth of summer.
But, with the holiday season just around the corner, I’m ready to pull out the decorations and start doing some baking.
Also around the corner is the release of Searching for Home. In stores December 28th!
This past weekend, I spent some time doing one of my favorite tasks as a writer…signing books!
In my previous newsletter, I put the call out for early readers to share their reviews on GoodReads, BookBub, etc.
Thank you to those who threw their name into the hat, and to those who emailed just to say hi.
The following names were drawn.
Angela Sanford
Lily Yu
Cindy McDonald
Sarah Woodhouse
Shanna Johnson
Leila Reynolds
Congratulations, ladies! Please email me your mailing address and I’ll get your book in the mail.
For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you might remember this photo.
I started this beast back in July and I’m happy to say, I’m close to finishing. Stay tuned for an update and an opportunity to find out for yourself just how challenging this puzzle is.
Finally, I hope you’ll check out my friend and talented author Mary Manners. Her latest release Devotion’s Wish is available now.
Two wounded hearts willing to risk everything for love…
For Amie Madigan, the need for fame means sacrificing everything—including friends, family, and faith. Dangerous risks threaten her future.
Cade Lockridge returns home following deployment, wanting nothing more than a quiet life and to raise a young nephew who's come into his care. But his plan for peace is dashed when his path crosses with Amie’s.
The two are as opposite as sandpaper and cotton, yet Cade can’t seem to keep his distance. Can he teach Amie to trust again, and that there's more to life than fame and fortune?
Mary Manners is a country girl at heart who has spent a lifetime sharing her joy of writing. She lives in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee with her husband Tim and their rescue dog Axel, mischievous cats Colby and Rascal, 8 rambunctious chickens, and 13 fish.
Mary writes stories full of faith and hope. Her books have earned multiple accolades including two Inspirational Reader’s Choice Awards, the Gail Wilson Award of Excellence, the Aspen Gold, the Heart of Excellence, and the National Excellence in Romance Fiction Award.
I’ll be back next week with an opportunity to win 40 books or a $500 Amazon gift card to buy even more books!
Thanks for reading!
Jill
