How delightful about Donald! Creepy about the snake, but I guess that's nature, all right. Good for you rescuing those beautiful flowers! When I buy flowers, they need to be rescued from me. ;)
That is so wonderful about the duck. I am waiting to hear her nest succeeded. My sister has bird nests on her property which she and I keep a virtual eye on. Yours--of course--is a much bigger deal! Can't wait to hear.
It took me a while to figure out how to leave a comment here but hoping for the best. You know I love ducks of any variety. It's sad when an invader takes all the eggs. Maybe she can be Donnie now that she's a mom. Great shots of her too.
I'm sorry you had trouble, Marlene. I appreciate your perseverance. I like the name Donnie! Thanks for reading. I hope you’re doing well in your new place.
Thank you, Sherida! We love Donald. It would be wonderful to see a duckling or two, but after reading Merril’s comment, I’m not so sure. I’ll keep you posted! Thanks for visiting. xo
So sweet, but I could have gone without seeing the snake. :) I, too, love to rescue plants. When we go to Lowe's, hubby goes one way and I go another. Eventually, he comes to garden center, and if my hands aren't full, asks if I haven't found any plants to rescue.
She is beautiful, Gwen. And she has so much personality. After reading Merril’s comment, I’m not sure if we’ll see any chicks…but I’m hopeful. Thanks for visiting! xo
Good morning, Jill! Thank you for sharing. Like hens, ducks will lay unfertilized eggs, but hopefully there is a Mr. Donald around, even though you haven't seen him? Wouldn't some little ducklings be adorable?
Hi Merril! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge of ducks. We had no idea. We haven’t seen a “Mr.” around, but I’m hoping there’s been one creeping after dark. We’ve been so excited to see some ducklings. Donald seems lonely being the only Muscovy. Sometimes the geese aren’t friendly with her. Thanks for sharing!
I love this report! I think Donald is a wonderful addition to your household.❤️
Thanks, Irene! We love Donald. She's got so much personality. Thanks for reading! xo
I don’t know where I’ve been but I didn’t realize your blog site had changed location. Forgive me. ❤️
No worries, Irene. It's great to connect again. I miss you on IG, but I understand. xo
Love the story about the duck love the beauty of watching when the babies come and I love flowers to
Thank you, Sandra! I appreciate your visit.
A duck tale indeed! Donald may have to become Donnette. :) Thanks for sharing, Jill!
LOL! I think you're right, Jan! I'll let you know. Thanks for visiting!

LOL! That was good, Betsy. You might have more of a green thumb than you think. :) Donald is a lot of fun...as you know! Thanks for stopping by.
Yay for Donald and her perseverance! I hope you will get some ducklings.
We are proud of her, Marie. She seems to be determined this time. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for visiting! I hope you're feeling well. xo
Who'd be a Mother Muscovy Duck? Good luck to her.
Thanks, Jo! We're hoping for a few ducklings. Thanks for visiting!

Thanks, Jacqui! Keeping a virtual eye on the nest must be fun. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks, Linda! We do too! Thanks for visiting!

LOL! Sorry, Sandra. I know, it was worse to watch live. I love that you rescue plants, too! I think it’s a win-win for everyone. Thanks for sharing!
She is beautiful and a delight! Thank you for sharing her with us. I hope little chicks arrive soon. 💗

Nature is persistent, and so are you, Jill!
LOL! Or hard-headed, Marian. 😊 Thanks for visiting.
I hope Donald's new eggs will hatch into a new family!
I hope so too, Liz. Obviously, Derek and I are “city folk” and didn’t realize ducks laid unfertilized eggs. I’ll let you know. Thanks for visiting!
You're welcome, Jill!
