I love your flowering plants, Jill. The lantana promises to be quite pretty.

Thanks, Marie. I sure hope the lantana is able to put on a late summer show...it's a little slow. Thanks for visiting!

My red-and-yellow lantana has really taken off in the last few weeks, but it seemed to have a slow start. In fact, so slow that I thought it was dead! Gratefully, I was wrong ;-)

That's great to hear, Marie. I love red and yellow together. I'm sure it's beautiful! Mine is showing more promise, too!

Hi Jill - love getting your updates! You are the master of plant TLC! Those plants and flowers deserve to be revived and look how pretty those flowers are. Glad to see Second Chance Romance being promoted, oo. I meant to tell you it's currently on display in our Romance section 🧡🧡🧡 at the library. One of my co-workers put it on display!

Thank you so much, Barbara! I'm amazed these flowers and plants are transferred to the clearance shelf when all they need is a little TLC.

Aw...that's wonderful to hear about Second Chance Romance! Please, tell you co-worker I said thank you!

After I send this letter I learned that Searching for Home is also on sale at Amazon for $1.99. I guess Amazon has sympathy for readers who have to choose between buying books or food...lol! Thanks for stopping by.

Love the way you can take discards and turn them into pieces of beauty.

Congratulations @Debbie!

And of course, I have to mention how adorable Donald is! He makes one smile just by being himself.

Thank you, Kay! It feels good to bring the plants back to life.

Oh yes, Donald makes our day each time she stops by. Sometimes she lets me pet her.

A puzzle piece missing seems to be becoming the normal. Hmmm.....I wonder what that is a reflection of? Life is puzzling! :) The flowers are great buys with great results!

LOL! I think you're onto something, Lynn. :) I agree. Spending a couple of dollars for something so beautiful that can last for 2 or 3 months is worth it! Thanks for visiting!

Thanks, Linda! I love the Mandevillas and so do the hummies. They are so easy to care for and they thrive in our hot and humid climate. Thanks for visiting!

I always like to see what you're up to, Jill. Beautiful flowers, Donald, and a puzzle with a missing piece. Those sound like elements of a great story. 🙂

Thank you, Merril! It's always nice to hear from you. Maybe in my story I invite Donald into the house and she makes off with the puzzle piece. :) Thanks for visiting!

I always enjoy seeing your rescue plants. Plants need to be rescued, just like animals. Plants maintain the atmosphere. They produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide during photosynthesis so you're doing your part! This evening I just finished the first draft of my first novel (83,500 words)--then your email showed up. Now I have to do the re-write (yuck), find a proofreader and editor, but I'm on my way. I already know what my next novel will be about. This is so exciting. But you already know all that! roslyn

Yay! Congratulations, Roslyn! I'm so happy for you! Finishing your first draft is a huge accomplishment. Many writers start, but never reach the finish line. Great job! You've definitely been bitten by the writing bug. Enjoy the process. If you're like me, writing serves as a great way to reduce stress.

I agree with you thoughts on plants...we need more!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your fantastic news!

I love seeing your plants, I used to be able to do that when I worked for Kmart. The garden center begged me to take the "dead" plants! Alas, I no longer have that talent - I killed an air plant - somehow, I suffocated it! 🤦🏻‍♀️I am SO ready for Autumn (although, we usually only get a week or so here in Texas!)

Hugs and have a wonderful Wednesday!

Cheryl Arcemont 🤗💖

PS: Congratulations to Debbie Turner! 🎉🎉🎉

Hi Cheryl! I'm glad you enjoy seeing my plants and flowers. I laughed reading about your air plant. I've never heard of that plant. I'll have to Google it. Hopefully, you'll get a few weeks of nice weather! Thanks for stopping by. It's always nice to hear from you!
