Hello friends! Happy Tuesday! I couldn’t resist sharing this cute little nugget who was enjoying fresh nectar. Look at those tiny feet! We’ve had a ton of rain and severe storms over the last several days. Donald loved it! As did the flowers! My puzzle is coming along.
I was supposed to be in VA visiting my BFF and her family this weekend, but my husband and son got sick. My daughter has been struggling with her mental health and I knew it would be hard for her to have our plans cancelled and sitting at home. So, we made a quick new plan, and we are in OH where she is visiting her BFF's from college. I am sitting in a rental apartment while she is out having the time of her life, LOL. I am reading, blogging, and trying to relax. She goes back to college in about 7 weeks and I know this time is good for her.
HI Jill, that is a really lovely video. The bird is adorable. I've had a busy week and now I am waiting for information from my client and taking advantage to catch up on private emails.
Thanks for your response. I am on Instagram although not as much as FB. However, I'm thinking about transitioning there instead of FB--and also starting up my blog again. There are other, better options for photographers/artists, so I'm trying to make up my mind. But I do agree about the one-stop shop. In the meantime I'm happy to catch up with you on your newsletter.
Hi Jill, Adorable video of the hummingbird. Yay! And Donald cracks me up. What am I up to? I started a new job at a Brewery! It's great fun. I'm a microbiologist whose been working in academic research labs for 20 years, so this is a whole new world to me. Three cheers for beer and birds!

Hi Jill...miss you on FB. I always love your hummers and flowers. Slow going with my novel but I'm at 57,000 words on the first draft... a long journey ahead but I'm not in a hurry. I still enjoy adventures with friends and taking/processing photos. A beautiful journal but I don't want to be in the drawing. Just stopping by to say hello.

Donald would be very happy! Lovely flowers. I have had two trips to the Canada Rocky Mountains this summer so far, and still lots of summer left, so am happy!
As for what I've been up to, I am working on two freelance projects that are coming to a close. Wrote draft 6 of a picture book for an educational publisher. I'm worldbuilding for a YA fantasy series.
Wish you could ship us some of that rain. We are so hot and dry that dragging the water hose around is an every day event here. But for the critters and plants it's a chore well worth the results.
