Hi Jill - I love these flowers! I have always loved vincas and what a bargain. Also the way you describe your overachieving orchids made me smile. I like the way you strive to keep things simple. It's really important to focus on a few things and not get too distracted by everything else that tries to demand our attention. That planner looks terrific - a full calendar view is also a must for me!

So sorry to hear about Donni's nest. Makes me sad. Happy to hear the good news about your new story in WW! I'll look for it. I make plans every morning and write them down in my morning pages, By the end of my first cuppa, they have gone in the bucket. Being adaptable is the key to my life. Keeping life simple is essential as well. Love the Vinca video. The mug, even more so. :)

Yes, it was sad. She seems to be okay. Perhaps you need another journal for your morning pages? I think being adaptable is good for everyone to practice. The mug sits in my writing room on the lovely mug rug you made for me. :) Thanks for visiting, Marlene!

Good morning from Ottawa 🇨🇦 I only by the plants that are on discount because they need TLC and they flourish. Before I was hit by a car and now live life from my wheelchair I used to drive through the back country roads with a shovel and dig up plants from the ditches. The neighbors would always tell me how envious they were of my garden asking me where I found my plants and how I kept them looking so good and I'd tell them one day at a time and where I found them .😉😊Kat

Oh my word, Kat. I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. You're right about the discount plants needing TLC. Sometimes it's as easy as a little water. It makes me feel good to bring them back to life. Thanks for visiting from Ottawa!

What beautiful flowers! I had never heard of balloon flowers before seeing them on your newsletter. They are spectacular! All of your flowers are beautiful! And how cool that you got those flowers for $2 each! (Yes, I looked at the video.)

Thanks so much, Linda! You know how much I enjoy writing these short stories.

I stumbled across the balloon flowers not really knowing how gorgeous they would be. What makes them even better is they are perennials, so we get to enjoy them year after year. I think they actually look better this year than last. You can't go wrong strolling down the clearance aisle!
