HI Jill, I also like evergreens and we have a few in our garden. Some were struck by lightening a few years back and we had to have them cut down and taken away. Good luck with the achievement of your deadline.

I love Donald. I always smile when I see her.

I love looking at your rescue plants.

Many years ago, I worked at Walmart in the garden department. The boss would let me take home the plants that looked dead. My Mom had a green thumb and was usually able to bring them back to life. Sometimes I would take them back to the store and we'd sell them. She didn't want 5 or 6 of the same plant.

Those Japanese false cypress are impressive. Your plants are so lovely and I’m glad the lantana is blooming a bit. Seems like Donald enjoys your company 🙂

Good afternoon Jill

I love how you get the goodies on sale! (Sounds like me, when I have funds to do so.) Even better were the puzzles on sale - very nifty.

Speaking of sales, my BFF and I stopped by a huge thrift furniture (antiques) store to browse. In another section were things like glassware, aprons, and other miscellaneous items. I found four Trivial Pursuit card sets marked for $4 a piece. I ended up getting all four for $6 (that was the only cash either one of us had!) The titles: TV, Silver Screen, Baby Boomers, and the !980's Editions!

Hugs and have a wonderful Wednesday!

Cheryl Arcemont 🤗💖

Ha! Forgot to mention the duck-with-a-personality. That is the friendliest duck.

Donald cracks me up. Apparently that duck isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Love the plants and how they thrive under your care! Thanks for sharing!

I love how cozy Donald is with you, wagging her tail like that. So cute. Your yard is so vast and beautiful. Funny about the cypress trees and how they used to be in pots. I couldn't help but think, like with children: They grow up so fast!

The 50s must've been a spectacular time: Dancing to jukebox music in the diner. What fun. Happy Days. ;)

We love nurturing evergreens to live a full life and have seen our efforts flourish. Bringing green growth to maturity is so rewarding, as you well know.

Donald wasn’t interested in being a movie star. I love your puzzles. I’m also a plant rescuer as was my dad. A little TLC and they flourish. Have a blessed day.

I love the clip of Donald. Sometimes we get quail families in our yard, but they run from one bush to another and don't pause to chat. Lucky you to have a beautiful wild friend. ❤️

Oh my word that lantana is beautiful! I made a note of it, never having heard of it.

I'm sure you have a lot to do on your new series, particularly with art suggestions. You are in my prayers!
