I may be somewhat of a dichotomy. While my middle name is Procrastination, I am certainly NOT patient! I feel like I may have missed something--I hope whatever is going on in your life that requires patience, gets resolved. I relate to the topic of waiting as I've been waiting since the end of November for a doctor's appointment. It's now "only" a month away but it's exasperating experiencing something that is affecting my life and not having any answers! Nevertheless, I've being keeping on keeping on as "normally" as possible--even traveling to the other side of the world--and just dealing with it. I am conscious of not wanting to waste time or having a "I'll do it later" mentality. Three days ago my brain settled down and I was able to get back to writing my novel. That in itself makes me feel better. Sending you my very best wishes. Cheers Roslyn.
Waiting is never easy, but waiting for an appointment or answers concerning our health is never easy. I'm relieved to hear your doctor's appointment is coming up. That's terrible you've had to wait so long. I'm sorry. I'll keep you in my prayers that you're able to find some answers after the difficult wait. As for procrastination, I'm pretty good at that too, so I know how you feel. I'm happy to hear you're writing again, though. That's always been helpful to me in stressful situation. Take care of yourself and let me know how you're doing. xo
HI Jill, I am pleased to see this short video of Donald. I am also not patient and I have been waiting for Terence to get the all clear from his doctor about his health. This has happened and now we can plan our trip to see the hippos and crocodiles.
Hi Robbie, I'm happy to hear Terence has received a good report on his health. This is wonderful news! I know you'll enjoy your time with the family and the critters. Thanks for sharing and for stopping by. xo
Hi Jill - I don't like waiting either. I want things to happen. However, I sometimes get bogged down by the pressure to make things happen when it's all on me to do it. How nice to find little surprises during this time. Those small pockets of joy and happiness are the key. 🤗
LOL! I think you're right, Luanne. She'd been digging in the mud for worms. We've had a lot of rain. :) Thanks for stopping by. I hope you and your family are doing well.
Well, waiting can be difficult, but doesn't the saying go, "all good things come to those who wait"? Just a thought. I love the pictures! Donald is so cute!! I hope you have a wonderful day!
That is the saying, Patsy! Maybe I need to remind myself more often. :) Oh, I know you would love Donald! I hope you are doing well, and your shoulder is recovering. Thanks for stopping over! xo
So good to hear from you, Jill, and thank you for sharing your lovely photos! Patience is not my middle name either, but I think you have more patience than I do 😉 You definitely have more perseverance ❤️
Maybe hard-headed is a better word for me, Marie! :) It's great to see you. I've missed your lovely photos on IG lately. My social media time had to go on the back burner. I hope you're doing well and your back is feeling better. xo
I think hard-headed would apply to both of us, Jill :-) I haven't been posting much on IG; only recently I posted a couple of times. I'm having to step back from (once again) being involved in too many things. Still, somehow I don't feel like I'm missing much when I take a vacay from social media like IG or Twitter or FB :-)
LOL! I'm glad to be in good company, Marie. I understand what you mean. Being involved in too many things ends up accomplishing nothing, at least for me. I feel the same about social media. I no longer have FOMO because there is so much more to life beyond social media.
Patience is something I still struggle with. Guess I'm a work in progress in more ways than one. but I'm so ready for spring as well. Last night was another night of covering what tender flowers that are trying to bloom.
Hopefully those below freezing nights are behind us, Kay. Donald does seem happy lately! I think she's ready to lay eggs again. :) Thanks for visiting!
Your puzzled/flummoxed/frustrated photo says it all--and I can surely relate. Waiting is hard but you have learned patience, the value of prayer, and the comfort of nature.
Blessings to you and your upcoming book, Jill! You have a large cheering section here! :-D
We always seem to be waiting or rushing around in a frenzy, Jill. There's never much middle ground but we're always being prompted to live in the moment. Some of those moments are always better than others. Hope you're well, Jill, and that it's all worth waiting for. Have a wonderful Easter!
Of course there is usually a nice reward for being patient. Love your newsletter. I don't remember being able to comment before. Maybe I missed something.
Thanks, John. I'm trying to practice patience, but it's tough sometimes. As far as I know, my newsletter has allowed for comments. That's what like about using Substack as the platform for the letter. I appreciate your visit!
Jill, you are in my prayers while you wait. From experience, I know the waiting time is NOT fun! Sending you peaceful thoughts until we discover what He is preparing for you. Blessings!
Waiting is always hard but it's always worth it! Wonderful stuff on its way!
Thanks, Kate! I appreciate your visit!

That's so true, Barbara. I do think those pockets are what can spark our creativity. Thanks for visiting! Enjoy spring! xo
Donnie boy needs a good polish of his beak! Maybe an electric shoe polisher?

I so relate to the waiting game, Jill. It seems I am always waiting for something. Love the video of Donald.
I guess I'm in good company! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, Jan. Donald was in a chatty mood. Thanks for stopping by.

Honored!

I’m waiting also for warmer weather, planting my garden, flowers to bloom, personal answers to prayers, etc. Thank you for sharing.
Blessings!
Thanks for sharing, Lucy. I hope your prayers are answered and some warmer weather comes your way. xo
