Your favorite thing doesn't surprise me in the least, Elaine! You're a wonderful friend to so many. I miss you! Merry Christmas to you and your family. xo
So hard to believe we are a couple weeks to starting a new year! I love puzzles of all kinds physical and online. Naturally, I love reading/listening books on my Kindle and watching mystery movies/TV shows on my laptop. Have a Blessed Christmas!
It is hard to believe how fast 2023 has passed. Thank you for sharing a few of your favorite things, Cheryl! Wishing you and your family a peaceful Christmas. xo
When I look at the calendar, I'm in disbelief. Thanks, Liz! As I mentioned to Priscilla, they aren't the most flattering, but once I saw them, I couldn't pass them up. Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the holidays! xo
My favorite thing is a purple daisy that isn’t supposed to be blooming right now. It is an annual whose season was already completed, but this Mother’s Day plant gift from our grandchildren’s mommy keeps blooming. When myself or our daughter’s hope bucket is empty, this daisy keeps on blooming and I text her every time it does.
What a wonderful favorite thing, Irene. That's nice you share the blooms with your daughter via text. Thank you for sharing! Wishing you and your family a peaceful holiday. Thank you for the beautiful card. xo
Oh, my gosh, I love all your "puzzling" updates. Those lounge pants....precious! One of my favourite things is the warmth from the wood-burning fireplace.
I love your favorite thing, Lynn! There's nothing better than a wood-burning fireplace. My puzzles have been great stress relievers during the evening hours. Thanks for sharing! Wishing you and your family a peaceful holiday. xo
Oh, I forgot ... one of my favorite things is watching TV with my legs up on pillows and my cat Wendy nestled between my knees. Sometimes it looks like she’s watching TV too 😁
I love your puzzle pants! Yes, the end of the year is near. Since all my family live elsewhere, it’s pretty quiet for us ... as long as we stay away from the stores 😉 I hope your holidays are wonderful, Jill ❤️ (Since I was a lucky recipient in a previous giveaway, please don’t enter me in this one. 😊)
What a fantastic list, Karen! I love it. Wishing you all the best with your first novel. Keep writing until you get to the end! Thanks for reading today.
Hi Jill! I love your puzzle pants! I have a puzzle app on my tablet, because we have no room for a puzzle table.
But I love seeing yours! My favorite things are reading and when all of the kids's work schedules allow them all to come over! On George's birthday weekend we played Apples to Apples which is always a blast, lol!
By the way, thank you for the sea turtle birthday card! It came yesterday. So cute! Another favorite thing I love doing is playing with Wampus and of course just being with George. He's off this week which is nice.
I hope you have a beautiful and blessed Christmas!
Hi Patsy! The puzzle pants were a perfect find. I've never worked a puzzle on an app. With my hand and wrist issues, I can't hold my phone for any length of time, but I understand the space issue. I'm happy you had a great time celebrating George's birthday. Happy belated birthday to him! You're welcome for the sea turtle card. It had your name all over it! I hope you have a great time celebrating your birthday. Thanks for sharing your favorites. Merry Christmas to you and your family! xo
Yes, where did 2023 go?!?! Your puzzle jammies are perfect! Thank you for your beautiful newsletters which make me smile…seeing your hummies, watching Donald and being amazed by all your puzzles. Have a special Christmas and a lovely holiday season!
Thank you for your sweet comment, Sherida. I have to return the thank you for all of the gorgeous hiking photos you share on IG. Wishing you and your family a blessed holiday. I still have the cute Mickey Mouse card from you. It makes me smile. xo

I agree that time is passing much too quickly. I love your puzzle pants!

I pretty much gave up on flattering a long time ago! I hope you and yours enjoy the holidays as well.
Lol! Me too! Thank you, Liz. xo
You're welcome, Jill!
The pants while doing the puzzle!!!!! Too much! Because I used to often host game nights, my sister sent me pants with playing cards all over them. :)
The winter trees make me sad. But the elation when spring makes them rebud almost makes it worth the sorrow.
My favorite things are friends and martial arts and friends at martial arts! ;) :)
I'm sure you look cute in your card pants, Betsy! Mine are nice and warm.
It's always sad to watch the trees lose their gorgeous color, but knowing what's to come in the future is comforting.
Thanks for sharing your favorite things. They are perfect for you!
Wishing you and your family a peaceful holiday. xo
A peaceful holiday--yes, that's the best. Great sentiment, Jill. And to as well. :)
Thank you, Betsy! xo

Hi Jill!
I had a wonderful birthday. And all the kids were here for Christmas as well. They are all working hard.
I actually work puzzles on my tablet. So it just sits in my lap and I don't have to hold it. My phone would be too small to do them on.
Anyway, I hope you all had a nice holiday and the new year is treating you well so far!
Patsy ❤️ ❤️

I noticed that Jan S. mentioned peppermint flavor as a favorite thing. I seem to remember peppermint mentioned in one or more of your books.
Favorite things: Writing a blog post, listening to Christmas carols, and online friends like these.
