Thanks, Priscilla! The puzzle was challenging, but I had fun with it. Of course, I loved the duck in the puzzle. :) We enjoy Donald's visit. She's very entertaining. Thanks for stopping by!
I'm happy too, Sarah! After a few warm days, we're back to typical winter temperatures. Spring can't arrive fast enough for me either! Enjoy your weekend. Thanks for stopping by!
So happy to see you know Donald is having duck days! I love your puzzles. We had some actual Winter weather lately mixed with our "Fall/Winter/Spring" normal at this point in the year. We even had some serious sleet/freezing rain! Now it is sunny with temperatures running in the upper 60s to lower 70s during the day and around 40℉ at night. This makes nice BBQ days that we are enjoying. The furbabies have been staying close with mommy since I have been having flare-ups of painful days when the Mother Nature changes her mind daily which also makes depression wear its ugly face more often. I had a wonderful day with my BFF yesterday, so we have decided to make Thursdays "our day" each week. 🥳
It's great to hear from you, Cheryl! I'm sorry you're dealing with health issues. I hope you're feeling better soon. I love that you and BFF have designated Thursdays as "our day." That's sweet! I hope it was a wonderful day. Enjoy the weekend! xo
Still a lot of winter left with snow in our forecast for Sunday, but I'll take these snippets of spring. Thanks for stopping by Irene. I hope you and your family are doing well.
I'm with you, on Donald. My sis has deer on her property and worries when she doesn't see them. She won't allow anyone to hunt on her property--sanctuary land--but doesn't always matter to some.
You're right about that, Jacqui. Also, we have a large coyote population around our neighborhood too, which causes more concern. It was nice to see her hanging out with other waterfowl. Thanks for stopping by!
Congrats to texasbookworm. Lovely flowers, Jill. You definitely have a green thumb :-) I'm so glad Donald made an appearance but, like Robbie said, "wild birds do disappear." Hopefully, like you said, she just wanted a change of scene :-)
Thank you, Marie. Derek transplanted these, so I have to give him the credit. :) I know you're familiar with the wild bird behavior. More than likely, Donald will come around when she feels like it. I'm thankful that I saw her today and know that she's okay. Thanks for visiting today!
I'm happy to hear you're still puzzling, Lucy. This puzzle was on clearance at Hobby Lobby after Christmas. It was a lot of fun. Thanks for stopping by today!
Hi Jill, I really admire how you do puzzles. They require great patience. Wild birds do disappear, I'm afraid. It has happened to me several times. I raised two birds from tiny chicks and in both instances the eventually flew away to carry on with their lives in the wild. It is sad but part of the cycle of life, I suppose.
Honestly, if I didn't work puzzles, I'd probably go crazy. It's really the only thing that seems to settle my mind these days, Robbie. You're right about the wild birds. It's something you have to accept, but it's still hard. I enjoyed the pictures of your recent houseguest! That was hilarious. Thanks for visiting today. I hope your husband is feeling better.
Well, we'll pay the price, Kate! Unfortunately, this happens each year and then everything freezes. We still have a lot of our potted outdoor plants from last summer inside, so at least they're safe. I'm sure your husband is getting excited for the big game. Go Eagles! Thanks for popping over!
Awwww, I love that Donald is doing what ducks love to do. :) That made me smile. I'm amazed that you have flowers blooming. It seems a little early. Hope they don't get surprised. Thanks for sharing today!
It made me smile too, Jan. I was really getting concerned about her since we have a lot of coyotes in the area. Yes, it is early for everything to be blooming and budding. The hyacinths have been getting good winter sun, so they actually started to pop out before the warm temperatures rolled in. No doubt, we'll have a hard freeze or two which won't be good. That seems to happen around here each year. Thanks for visiting today!
Donald was looking a little plump. Maybe she just put herself on a diet knowing that spring will bring many eating opportunities. Although I've lived in Southern California all my adult life, I still miss spring (but not the season that comes before it...)! I wouldn't trust myself working on the Good Humor puzzle--I would be eating ice cream nonstop.
You might be right about Donald and her seasonal eating habits, Roslyn. She was on the chunky side. I'm thinking she might have had a nest somewhere and laid eggs. With your Southern California weather, you can enjoy a beautiful climate almost year-round. LOL! Maybe you can work a salad puzzle! :) Thanks for visiting today!
That's exactly why I purchased this puzzle, John. It brought back a lot of memories of the Good Humor truck rolling through the neighborhood. I'm happy to hear it sparked a memory for you, too. Thanks for stopping by!
Oh, we hope so too, Merril. No, she is the only Muscovy duck in the lake. Since they aren't native to the area, we think she might have belonged to someone who released her or maybe she flew to coup. It sure would be nice if she could talk! :) Thanks for stopping by.
We've missed Donald's visits, Donna. It's lonely when she's not coming around. Thanks for stopping by!
The yard sale puzzle looks difficult! Kudos for finishing it! Ducks are so funny and adorable.:-)
Thanks, Priscilla! The puzzle was challenging, but I had fun with it. Of course, I loved the duck in the puzzle. :) We enjoy Donald's visit. She's very entertaining. Thanks for stopping by!
So glad Donald is back ! Can't wait for Spring to get here Have a Great weekend!

Here comes spring…but how is that possible?!
Still a lot of winter left with snow in our forecast for Sunday, but I'll take these snippets of spring. Thanks for stopping by Irene. I hope you and your family are doing well.
Beautiful signs of spring! Thanks for sharing, Jill. I too am amazed by the puzzles you work on. Fun!

Happy first signs of spring and to Donald's good health!
Thank you, Liz!

I just finished a puzzle also. I love yours. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Jill, he is improving steadily. Thank you.
That's good to hear, Robbie. Thank you.
You get spring so much earlier than we do. Jealous!

Good for Donald. I can't imagine doing those puzzle, Jill. I loved the Good Humor reminder. The good humor man was a staple in our neighborhood.
That's exactly why I purchased this puzzle, John. It brought back a lot of memories of the Good Humor truck rolling through the neighborhood. I'm happy to hear it sparked a memory for you, too. Thanks for stopping by!
I'm happy Donald has reappeared. I hope she is OK! Is she the only one of her species around?
Enjoy your puzzles!
