So many favorite things. Can't just pick one. Going for a long walk in the city and then in the forest with my guy. Walking for miles with a friend. Reading for hours. Writing. Watching my granddaughter, who just performed as Clara in ballet The Nutcracker. On toes!! These are my favorite things. <3

Hi, Jill - I just read your Favourite Things post and loved it. Sadly, that post would not let me comment. (And I promise that I have been good). :D But it did send me over here to this equally fabulous post. I tend to only work on puzzles when we have family members staying over. I just received a beautiful puzzle in the mail today...just in time for family arriving!

My preference is anything at all!

Sorry Donna! Apparently, Substack went down yesterday for a period of time. I appreciate your persistence! I'm thrilled to hear you received a puzzle. I know you and your family will have a lot of fun with it. Enjoy the holidays! xo

I used to work on jigsaw puzzles with my kids, but I have not done so in years. I want to say it is because I cross stitch all the time, but my daughter makes quilts and she is constantly also working on jigsaw puzzles. You have inspired me! She is visiting for Christmas and I will get out a puzzle!

I would love to win a puzzle!

Merry Christmas!

I know many people that love doing puzzles. Everything is a puzzle to me so I'll stick with those things. My quilting and sewing are very puzzling indeed. You have quite the collection there though. It's a great way to focus on something else when you are trying to puzzle something out in your head. I think puzzles clear bandwidth in the brain. At least you don't have 20 tubs of fabric to try to find space for. Just a closet filled with pretty pictures. Enjoy them. No puzzle for me though. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

“ Everything is a puzzle to me.“ this made me laugh, Marlene. Your sewing projects always impress me, as I struggle sewing a button. I love my mug rug you sent. I’ll put your name in for the gift card. Thanks for reading and sharing. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
